Winner of the Czech Grand Design Awards – Jewellery Designer of the Year 2016 and Talent of the Year 2014, her work is dedicated to exploring the links between the form of objects and the body. She considers the relationship between body and jewelry an important partnership that presents the personality of the wearer as well as affects it. This artist is interested in the dark recesses of the primordial, the ambivalence of natural and artificial forms, the story of the hidden intimate self in contrast with provocatively expressive ornament. Her work returns to a clear, modernist expression and creates a system of elements that are already characteristic of her work.
During her studies at Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague Kratochvilova's work was exhibited on prestigious shows such as Schmuck Munich, Art jewelry Biennial in Beijing, Marzee Graduate show. After graduation in 2014, she participated in the project From Yuhang Rong Design Library in Hangzhou China where she got a chance to study traditional Chinese materials and technics with a potential to be applied in design processes. Kratochvilova also represented the Czech Republic as part of awarded International Fashion Showcase presentation in London Summerset house. In 2016 she got internships in two New York-based jewelry studios and also participated in Camper workshop in Seoul South Korea where she was part of the creative team working on new footwear ideas. In 2016 Kratochvilova presented Dragon Spirit collection and 2017 received the highest Czech award for jewelers Czech Grand Design Award Jeweler of the year. In 2017 she launched Bold Studio in Prague as showroom and workshop dedicated to jewelry and experimental design
